WHAT?

As part of a training "Instructional design" course at university, me with the team created animated video about problem-based learning.

The video describes and explains:

1. What is problem-based learning (PBL)? And what features of this?
2. What is the history of PBL?
3. What students and teachers really do in this kind of learning?
4. Is PBL effective?
5. Where to learn more about problem-based learning?

WHY?

Problem-based learning is interesting and important theme, because it is very powerful and valuable approach for education. And short video format is easy to watch and understand. It helps quickly get new information and recall a forgotten.

HOW?

To make this video our team had to allocate roles and responsibilities and set up deadlines first, then do a research, to script for the video, make an animated video and voiceover it. My main responsibility was to create a video and overlay sound on it.

This project was a good opportunity to work with a team to develop a video from the beginning to the end. Also it helped me learn animated video development with Powtoon program and Audacity.
