WHAT?
It is an Interactive webinar with a professional expert for Introduction to Front-end development.
Webinar is made for Coding Invaders online school.

Goals:
  • to give an understanding of what the Front-end Developer does
  • motivate students to learn more about the profession and try it
  • to inspire them to come to the next webinar
  • to discuss and overcome, if possible, students' fears and doubts

Results:

The learners can
  • explain what Front-end is
  • list Front-end developer's qualities and tasks and (in general and daily)
  • answer the question "How do I know if Front-end is right for me
  • describe the learning path to becoming a Front-end developer (skills, sequence of topics, approximate duration of the learning path)
  • name the average salary of a Front-end developer
  • list the main features of learning with Coding Invaders


WHY?
When a person wants to work in IT but does not know which area he is interested in, it is important to show the features and differences of the main IT areas. To do this Coding Invaders created a 1-month course where learners will get to understand and try themselves at 5 IT professions:
  • front-end developer
  • back-end developer
  • QA engineer
  • data analyst
  • data scientist

HOW?
To make this project I have done:
  1. Needs analysis: what learners really need to know about Front-end development;
  2. Gathering information on Front-end learning map;
  3. Storyboard;
  4. Visual Mockups;
  5. Communication with subject expert during the whole process;
  6. Final presentation in Canva Pro, which you can see below
